IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for (30482) 2000 OG45 / HIP 3031 event on 2012 Sep 18, 00:35 UT Visible from Arabia, Africa, Colombia Summary ------- On 2012 Sep 18 UT, the 20 km diameter asteroid (30482) 2000 OG45 will occult a 4.4 mag star in the constellation Andromeda for observers along a path across Arabia, Africa, Colombia. In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star will drop by 12.4 mag to 16.8 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 1.9 seconds.
