IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for (95625) 2002 GX32 / UCAC2 20413083 event on 2009 May 12, 10:15 UT Visible from Summary ------- On 2009 May 12 UT, the 153 km diameter asteroid (95625) 2002 GX32 will occult a 13.5 mag star in the constellation Libra for observers along a path across . In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star will drop by 9.1 mag to 22.6 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 6.5 seconds. This update is based on historical astrometry from the MPC files (via AstDys), and the following catalogs for the star position: UCAC.
